What We Do

Through careful research, we’ve selected the finest baby leaf varieties to bring you top-quality spinach, rocket, chard, red oak lettuce, and bulls blood.

We gently harvest the leaves every day in peak season, and pack them – unwashed. This ensures that the customer receives the best quality product.

Continuing the legacy as second-generation growers, building on over 40 years of expertise passed down from our parents.

Unwashed or Washed?
There are many reasons why you’ll love unwashed leaves!
- Fresh and crispy – Unwashed Lyttle Leaves are harvested, packed, and can be in your trolley the very next day! This means you get the best quality product with very little transit time or processing from our fields to your fork.
- Reducing food waste – Unwashed leaves are completely dry and undamaged when they are packaged. They make it to our fridge with minimal handling therefore Lyttle Leaves will last longer in your fridge, you’ll have longer to use them in your favourite recipes, and this minimises waste!
- Sustainable – Providing locally grown baby leaves to the customer unwashed, reduces excessive water usage on the farm. It also reduces our carbon footprint by reducing transport and storage time.
- Seasonal – Lyttle Leaves are grown outdoors from March to October. This is when they are at their best! They are an excellent source of important vitamins when they are at their best!
- Grown locally, supporting local farming industry – When we buy locally grown produce, we directly contribute to supporting jobs in the local area. This creates opportunities across various roles, including farm workers who cultivate and harvest the produce, transport drivers who ensure timely delivery, technicians who maintain essential farming equipment and the record keeping, cleaning services that uphold hygiene standards, and packhouse operatives who prepare and package the produce for sale. By choosing local, consumers help sustain a network of employment that benefits the community and strengthens the local economy.
